Wendy began her nursing career in the Intensive Care Units of the US Army’s Walter Reed Army Medical Center. After advanced study in adult and geriatric primary care, she has evolved her practice to focus on wellness inside and out. She currently specializes in functional approaches to chronic and acute health problems.
Wendy’s nursing journey has exposed her to a broad range of medical practices and patients, from office settings to high-tech hospitals to rural long-term care facilities. She believes there is a place in health care for all modalities including traditional, natural, integrative, and procedural approaches. To her, successful outcomes require care for the whole person and not just individual conditions or symptoms.
Wendy is also proficient in aesthetic medical arts. She is skilled in the use of platelet rich plasma (PRP) and laser applications as well as Botox®, Kybella®, and hyaluronic filler injections.
Wendy believes in the incredible self-healing power of the human mind and body. She sees her role as that of a learned and always learning guide. She loves to help people find their individual paths toward wellness and personal fulfillment. She looks forward to helping you become the best and happiest you that you can be.
