Amanda McClay, CNM, WHNP-BC, of The Chronic Pelvic Pain Center of Northern Virginia in Annandale, Virginia, has a passion for educating and empowering women that led her to pursue a career in women’s health. She believes that partnership with women is key in providing effective and personalized care. Amanda received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Towson University. As a registered nurse, she worked in urgent care and as a mother-baby nurse. She completed a Master’s of Science at Georgetown University as a Certified Nurse Midwife and a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. She has practiced full scope midwifery and women’s health, treating women through the lifespan in gynecologic capacity and prenatally.
In addition to women’s health, Amanda enjoys being active, watching and playing sports, and spending time with her husband, family, and friends.
